Salads

Tomato basil salad with garlic-honey dressing


This is one of my son's favorite salads, and now it's harvest time, so there are plenty of open-air farmers' markets everywhere in our area. So, for this salad I bought organic tomatoes - yellow, red, green, orange - fresh basil leaves from my garden. It is served with grain whole bread and goat cheese to create a very light - yet rich - and healthy snack or a salad before the main course at lunch.
