Seafood soup with mushrooms and deep-fried tofu

 Today is rainy but incredibly warm and nice day , I ve walked with my Mama to Japanese market and decided to treat my family with Japanese food for the rest of the week ! 

So here it is ! Seafood  miso soup  with deep fried tofu , mushrooms , soybean sprouts and cilantro !!

 Its served with rice( cooked in cloth -old -fashioned style )  ,which was cooked with chestnut, Jinger root and sesame oil ! Very rich flavor  and light but healthy meal !

 as  a second meal I cooked red snapper( wild-caught )  grilled on cedar board - amazing  smoky ,forest smell  !  Served with multi -colored squash ,carrorts, radish ,cilantro,garlic and mango dressing !

Cheese Mini- pies with peaches, banana and blueberry

 Good morning! Its Tuesday morning and  my son is at school  but tonight he will have his first meeting at LEGO TEAM , I ll be there too, of course..its will be long and probably not very exciting for me , so I decided to cheer up and make some sweets for this night !)

It s cute  cheese mini-pies with some of peaches I bought last weekend at Farmer John Market , also bananas and fresh  blueberry !

The best thing about this small " Guys" is you can fill them with anything !  It might be sweet feeling  or salty -meat /seafood filling, veggie feeling if you re on diet or vegetarian ) 

The best peaches from Farmer John's Market (Leesburg, VA)

Simply wonderful, amazing peaches! I bought these last weekend at my favorite place, Farmer John's Market in Leesburg, VA - just an hour drive from my city! I just love this market and visit it every year in summer and autumn! And now it's harvest season, so you can find everything there!

It's outside in the open air, surrounded by sunshine, trees and farms with a lot of animals.

I made peach jam today, and I'll use the rest of the fruits for a crusty tart, as well as homemade peach-strawberry ice cream! My son Danil loves all of it.

 This lunch box in "Japanese style" I made for my son on Friday ) Tried to cheer him up  with this small rice panda and rolls with omelette ,veggies and bacon )

 I made this pie at morning, it s very easy and quick recipe ! Its crusty    ,butter dough , amazingly golden color , cream was made out of curds , a bit of vanilla , sugar, sour cream and blackberry jam ( I gathered in the forest in Canada this summer ))))  It s light , delicious and  I believe , can be  the pride of any housewife on  all kinds of parties or celebrations)

 This is Jessica! Unlike her friends , she has a short skirt but long blonde hair , all the details are handmade and embroidered by hand , her bag with lavender flowers and boots ..

 This adorable rabbit girl was made long time ago,back in Russia ! She is small ( about 30 sm hight ),  cute and has a lot of sweet details such as - ribbon with a peony flower on her head , nice cotton dress with lace , leather shoes with tiny flowers )

One night I had an insomnia ,so I decided to wake up and cook something tasty and rich for my son as a breakfast!) And as it was a Saturday morning , my choice was" comfort  food" which was  homemade pizza - with a lot of delicious things my son loves-  meat, cheese,mushrooms, a lot of veggies and olives ))) 

But surprisingly for me, somehow Danya felt this and woke up too  and being with me till the moment this pizza was read y to go in our bellies))

Salmon salad with grilled potato and quail eggs

For this salad you can use any kind of fish , in my case I prefer the salmon ,! It has a rich flavor ,enough natural salt  and looks amazing all the time , no matter what way of cooking you like) 

If you dont have a quail eggs , you can use regular chicken eggs , it wont ruin the taste , but in my opinion quail eggs look sooo cute !

This salad can be real main meal , cause it has everything your body needs- protein( salmon and eggs) , vegetables( greens , onion ,tomatoes , green sprouts) ,carbs- grilled potato )

Romantic floral cupcake

Its a nice medium size lemon cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and cute small pink roses and leaves on the top , also as a small accents I made the tiniest daisies I could with a pearl in the center )

I love all kinds of cupcakes , cause unlike the whole cake ,you wont eat more than one ) and also it s always just a great decoration as a centerpiece at parties.
